This project uses a VW T-Roc equipped with all the necessary sensors. There are cameras for environmental perception, a GNSS receiver for localization, and an on-board unit (OBU) for communication with other road users and the infrastructure. In addition to its use as a demonstration vehicle, the T-Roc constitutes an ideal opportunity for recording data from real-world traffic situations. This means that the data necessary for training neural networks can be collected.
